ALINKA ROWE
VIOLA
British-Polish violist, Alinka Rowe, enjoys a varied and versatile career across
Europe. She performs regularly at chamber music festivals including
Musikdorf Ernen, Wye Valley Chamber Music Festival, Mendelssohn on Mull
and Lewes International Chamber Music Festival. A deeply committed
chamber musician, she has collaborated with artists such as the Jerusalem,
Brodsky and Doric Quartets, Sheku Kanneh-Mason, Adrian Brendel and
Steven Isserlis. She has also recorded for Decca Classics with the Cassadó
Ensemble. She is also regularly invited as guest principal viola in orchestras
including Aurora Orchestra and Kammerorchester I TEMPI. Alinka has a been
a participant in the prestigious masterclasses at IMS Prussia Cove with
Ferenc Rados, Rita Wagner and Claudio Martinez Mehner, as well as the IMS
Tour 2021, which culminated with performances at Champs Hill and Wigmore
Hall. Alinka is currently studying at the Musik Akademie Basel with Claudio
Martinez Mehner.
