Maria Eleonora Caminada - Soprano
Born in 1993, she began her musical career in the “Teatro alla Scala di Milano” Children’s Choir. She earned her master’s degree in 2019 at Guido Cantelli Academy in Novara. Since 2014 Maria Eleonora made her first role debuts as Serpina in La Serva Padrona by Pergolesi, Amore in Orfeo ed Euridice by Gluck, Bystroušky in Příhody Lišky Bystroušky by Janáček, Anna in Nabucco by Verdi, Dido in Dido & Aeneas by Purcell, Bastienne in Bastian und Bastienne by Mozart. In 2016 she sang in the “Advent Calendar” in Piazza Duomo in Milan, organized by Orchestra Filarmonica Italiana. She has performed solo roles in orchestral productions of sacred music (Requiem di Mozart, Messiah di Händel, Johannes-Passion di Bach, Stabat Mater di Pergolesi) and in symphonic and chamber music with prestigious orchestras like LaVerdi (Porgy and Bess with John Axelrod, The jungle book), Carlo Coccia (Ein Sommernachtstraum by Mendelssohn) and NED ensemble (Folk Songs by Luciano Berio). Eleonora took part in the staging of opera reductions with Piccoli Pomeriggi Musicali Orchestra (Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte in the Queen of the night role and Nozze di Figaro as Susanna, Rossini’s Cenerentola as Clorinda and Il barbiere di Siviglia as Rosina and Berta).
In 2018 she took part in “Call for Young Performers” by IDEA, which allowed her to sing in the starting concert “Rondò di Bobbio e Monferrato”. She has extended her repertoire singing contemporary, twentieth and century music, collaborating with well-known composers. She performed Berio’s Folk Songs with the Orchestra Calamani, directed by Danilo Grassi and collaborated with Stefano Gervasoni for the world premieres in his composition masterclass at the Livorno Music Festival
Alfonso Alberti
Alfonso Alberti s a widely active pianist in Europe and the US. Born in 1976 he has played in venues like the Konzerthaus in Vienna, Teatro Dal Verme, Milan, Teatro Bibiena, Mantova, Tonhalle Düsseldorf (Germany), the LACMA in Los Angeles, the Passionsspielhaus Erl, Tyrol, Austria and in the gardens of the Guggenheim Collection in Venice.
Among the conductors he has played with are Tito Ceccherini, Gustav Kuhn, Vittorio Parisi, Arturo Tamayo, Flavio Emilio Scogna, Yoichi Sugiyama, Pierre-André Valade.
He plays with the Ensemble Prometeo on a regular basis and occasionally performs with other Ensembles.
He has recorded numerous CDs – both solo and chamber music (col legno, Stradivarius, Limen). His solo recordings include: Cangianti (music by Niccolò Castiglioni) and Dispositions furtives (music by Gérard Pesson). Together with the Orchestra della RAI of Turin he has also performed in a recording of Goffredo Petrassi’s Concerto per pianoforte e orchestra under Arturo Tamayo’s direction.
Alberti works closely with the internet-television channel Limenmusic, for which he has done numerous music videos.
One of Alfonso Alberti’s main focuses is the promotion of 20th century music, his repertory ranges from the historical avantgarde to young composers.
He premiered solo pieces by Jacopo Baboni Schilingi, Paolo Castaldi, Osvaldo Coluccino, Giorgio Gaslini, Stefano Gervasoni, Giuseppe Giuliano, Daniele Lombardi, Alessandro Melchiorre, Fabio Nieder, Gérard Pesson, Robert HP Platz, Giuseppe Sinopoli, Alessandro Solbiati, Yoichi Sugiyama, Martino Traversa and several others.
Apart from being a performer Alberti is also a musicologist, he has published: Niccolò Castiglioni, 1950–1966 (LIM, 2007), Vladimir Horowitz (L’Epos, 2008) and Le sonate di Claude Debussy (LIM, 2008)
